This variety of gaura is a clumping perennial with graceful stems and dark pink star shaped flowers. Basal rosette of leaves topped with slender wands of small butterfly-like flowers. It makes a nice airy filler plant in a perennial garden. Takes the Texas heat and must have well drained soil. Deer and drought tolerant (once established). Attracts butterflies. Mass plantings, landscape beds and mixed pots.
