Ruby Slippers is a fast growing, deciduous, flowering shrub. In late spring the large white clusters of flower bloom out and as the season goes on they age to a deep pink and backed by large oak-like leaves. The blooms remain upright unlike other varieties. The foliage turns a deep color into the fall. Mass planting, container. Average water and well draining soils. In North Texas the soils need to be amended.
