Also known as Lenten roses or Snow roses. 'Ice N' Roses Nightingale' has beautifully textured green leaves year-round, growing one to two feet tall and almost as wide. Dusky red to mauve single-petaled flowers appear in late winter to early spring, often lasting up until April. Hellebores are a splendid addition to container planters, hanging baskets, and shady borders in the garden. Cold-hardy Hellebores thrive in any soil, but prefer nutrient-rich, chalky soil. Keep moist, but not soggy.
