The Hurricane Cactus, or Lepismium cruciforme, is an epiphytic cactus characterized by its long, three-sided ridged stem segments that sprout thick white tufts along the areoles. Stem segments vary in length and can grow long, 18-22" inches or more. It does flower, producing red pods that resemble berries with pink flowers.
Care:
- Light: Bright indirect light, avoid full sunlight.
- Watering: Likes some humidity, water when the first 1/2 inch of soil is dry.
