Philodendron Melinonii 10"
$80.00
A relatively rare variety of philodendron. Underside of the leaves are red as they emerge, turning green as they matures. Leaves are large and elongated, growing up to 19 or 20" long. The petiole can be coppery red to light green. Native to the rainforests of Central and South America.
Care:
- Bright filtered light, imitating what this plant receives in nature, is best. But early morning or late afternoon sun is beneficial when growing indoors. Sunny windows are particularly beneficial in the wintertime if you live in an area with shorter, dark days in the winter time.
- Water when the top 1-2 inches of potting mix feels dry. They don't want to be wet all the time, nor do they want to dry out completely.
