The balloon flower Platycodon grandiflorus is a compact, upright, clump forming perennial with lance shaped blue-green foliage. It bears wide, bell-shaped flowers. 'Pop Star White' is a dwarf compact plant with white bell shaped flowers.
Unique,poofy, balloon-like buds open up to a 2" star-shaped blossom. This variety is very compact in habit. Good for small patios, mixed containers or border fronts. Difficult to transplant or divide due to long deep taproot.
