Holly - Needlepoint

A handsome variety with glossy, gently twisted deep green foliage, a heavy crop of bright red berries throughout the winter; can grow quite large, ideal for massing or screening where a small broad plant is called for. Long, narrow, lustrous dark green leaves have a slight twist to them.  

Needlepoint Chinese Holly is primarily grown for its highly ornamental fruit. It features an abundance of magnificent dark red berries in late fall. It has attractive dark green foliage which emerges chartreuse in spring. The glossy narrow leaves are highly ornamental and remain dark green throughout the winter. The flowers are not ornamentally significant. Excellent for hedges or in mass plantings.
