Beautiful blue and white flowers on this classic garden perennial. This columbine is very uniform and has a compact habit. It can be treated as an annual or as a perennial. Its unusual showy spurred flowers show off in the garden. Attracts bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. 

Columbine is easy to grow in loose, average to rich, well-drained soil. Avoid heavy or soggy soils-drainage is key! They can be grown in full sun or partial shade, though light shade will prolong the flowering time. In the fall, cut plants back to their basal foliage. In the spring, remove only the dead leaves.
