Blue Zinger Sedge (Carex 'Blue Zinger') is the perfect plant for those 'hard to grow anything' shady places. Growing slightly larger than most other sedges, it sprouts beautiful blades of blues and greens nearly 1' tall. Use Blue Zinger Sedge in mass as a groundcover, or tuck into the shady spot in your rock garden. Prefers medium to wet soil but will tolerate drying out with regular watering. Not minding getting its feet wet, it's also a wonderful plant for rain gardens, woodland borders and grows well next to ponds and streams.
