Bagged Landscapers Mix With Shale 1 Cu Ft

The Landscaper's Mix Soil is produced from compost, decomposed pine bark, expanded shale, and screened sand. These ingredients are blended and screened to create a uniform mixture. It has beneficial nutrients with a low to normal pH and is well-draining. The pH can range between 6 and 7.4. 

Landscaper’s Mix is very similar to the All Purpose Planters Mix, but has Expanded Shale added to the blend, which is a great amendment to help with root zone structure and moisture retention within the soil. Landscapers Mix is a great blend for building up bedding areas and direct planting, but it can also be used like compost and tilled into the soil. Having the Expanded Shale blended in also makes it an ideal media for containers as it helps with drainage while helping to retail moisture. 

Landscaper's Mix is ready to plant. It can be applied in planting areas and beds. Place a 2" to 4" depth of existing soils. Blend this layer with existing soil and then place another 4" to 6" of Landscaper's Mix Soil on top.
