The canna's are long blooming perennials. This variety has spikes of rose-pink flowers and large blue-green foliage. Flowers summer till beginning of fall. Sun and heat loving. Tropical foliage. Can grow in rich garden soil or in a wet, well drained garden situation, such as at the edge of a pond. Cannas are heavy feeders. Remove old flower stalks regularly. Cut to the ground after hard freeze. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Deer and rabbit resistant. Use in containers, mass plantings, and pools.
