Carpet type cotoneaster with dark green, glossy leaves, turning to bronzy-red in fall; bright coral-red fruit attracts birds in late summer and into the winter; higher resistance to fireblight than other cotoneasters.
Royal Beauty Cotoneaster is primarily grown for its highly ornamental fruit. A low-growing, evergreen shrub with glossy dark green foliage, white flowers in late spring, and showy dark red berries that provide color in the fall and winter. It features an abundance of magnificent coral-pink berries from late summer to late fall. The small glossy oval leaves turn an outstanding burgundy in the fall.
