Height: 3-4 feet
Spread: 4-5 feet
Hardiness Zones: 4
Partial Sun to Afternoon Shade
Average water and well draining soils. In North Texas the soils need to be amended to make more acidic.
The Bloomstruck Hydrangea is a deciduous, flowering shrub with a round habit growth. In late spring throughout the summer rose/pink to violet/blue flowers bloom out and backed by dark green foliage.
Great as cut flowers and spent blooms need to be trimmed off for better production of flowers. Best in mass plantings and in flowerbeds. Extremely strong stems, above average heat tolerance and great disease resistance, especially to powdery mildew.
